This service is designed to help athletes get better tournament results, enhance their performance, improve their self-belief & self-confidence, reduce stress, and recover from injuries. 

What is Reiki Energy?

Reiki is a Japanese energy healing technique that uses gentle hand movements to guide the flow of healing energy through the body.

How the Service Works

We will evaluate what area of performance the athlete wants to improve in their game- encompassing the mind-body connection. Then the Reiki practitioner will place their hands on or near the athlete's body and channel healing energy. The athlete will typically lie down on a massage table, sit in a comfortable chair, or work remotely. 

What you can expect in a Session with me:

  1. We set a time and date. Choose if you want a 45 minute or a 90 minute session.

  2. Evaluation is 5 or 10 minutes: we talk before the treatment to see where you are holding stress in your mind & body. Example: are your shoulders or back tight? What is your stress level and do you have any primary or secondary concerns?

  3. You lay down on a massage table with your clothes on and shoes off. If you choose remotely, we will talk over the phone. 

  4. I give an affirmation specific to the client’s needs and walk them through a visualization and breath exercise, adding another layer of relaxation for the mind & body.

  5. I scan the athlete's body to see where there is blocked or stagnant energy (chi) and where the person is holding stress in their mind & body.

  6. Coaching is 10 or 20 minutes: after the session, I go over the areas I worked on and discuss specific exercises for the mind-body connection that the athlete can implement in their daily routine. 

  7. The treatment is 30 minutes or 60 minutes. In total, the session is 45 or 90 minutes, including the time of the evaluation and coaching after the treatment.
